“Hold up, what’s all this shit over here on your night table?”

“Whatever do you mean?” Bryce tried to hold in her laugh. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“Aww, playing games, huh? You know good and damn well I’m talking about all this sex stuff you have over here on your dresser!”

Troy started picking up the items one by one. The only items he recognized were the vibrator, the handcuffs, and the dildo. He held up a circular item. “What on earth?”

“That’s a cock ring.” Bryce smirked.

“And this?” He picked up a velvet box from the table.

“Ummm, those would be Ben Wa balls.”

“What the fuck?” Troy chuckled. “I see why you got homies fighting to get up out of here now.”

Bryce sat up on her elbows. “Can I tell you a secret?”

“Please do, Baby.” Troy picked up the dildo and looked at the size of it with resentment, wondering if any of his homies had a dick that damn huge.

“I’ve never used any of these things before.”

He gawked at her with disbelief.

“No, I really haven’t. I’ll admit that I had a man until very recently, but his ass was hardly ever here. I never got to experiment with him.”

Troy sat down on the bed beside her. “You’re a fucking trip, gurl.”

She reached out and ran her fingertips up and down his arm. “Even though I do hate your guts, I was kind of excited when you called. But, I’m still going to kick Lamar’s ass for giving up my digits. Tell him I’m gunning for his ass.”

“Lamar didn’t have a fucking choice but to give me the digits,” Troy boasted.

  “And why is that?”

  “Because I’m his boss.”

“Get the fuck out of here! You mean to tell me that you’re Lamar’s manager at the auto dealership?”

  “Actually, I own the joint.”

Bryce laughed harder, collapsing back on the pillow. “You mean to tell me that you fucked me on the pool table at one of your employees’ houses?”

Troy blushed. “Damn sure did, and tore that pussy up at that!”

“Wait till I tell Colette, Lucky, and Harmony this shit!” Bryce had to hold her side. Her laughter was so intense.

  “Who are they?”

“I’ll tell you later.” Bryce stood up and took off her dress, revealing that she was butt naked underneath. “Right now, I just want to experiment on your ass.”

She straddled him and pushed his back onto the bed. His dick was rock solid. She knew from last time, he could fuck her for a good hour straight off pure hatred alone.

She started kissing his chest. “So, when did you get into all this weird sex stuff? Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving it!”

“I bought this book called The Sex Chronicles and got a ton of ideas.”

“Oh my!” Troy replied as Bryce moved her mouth farther down in search of the dick. He closed his eyes when she took the head of it in, but then she abruptly got up off the bed and went in the bathroom. A minute later, she came back with a bottle of Listerine.

“What the hell is that for?”

“You’re about to find out.” Bryce screwed the cap off the bottle and then got back on the bed. “Now fuck me like you hate me!”

Harmony went home early that afternoon after her doctor’s appointment. She crawled into bed and fell asleep in the fetal position, trying to block the pain out of her mind.

She woke up a little after eight, took a hot shower, and decided eating dinner was out of the question. She didn’t have any food in the house and was too sick to go out anywhere. She made a mental note to do as Bryce requested every time she came through and buy some damn food.

She crawled up on her couch, popped her favorite movie, Imitation of Life, in the VCR and watched it. Just like the 50 million times she had viewed it previously, Harmony began to cry at the part with Mahalia Jackson singing and the girl throwing herself on her mother’s coffin because she had never got a chance to say good-bye.

Harmony made another mental note. She’d definitely say good-bye.

She reached for the phone and started dialing Zachary’s number, but thought better of it. The last thing he needed, the last thing he deserved, was having to deal with her in her current state. Her heart and body yearned for his touch, but it was just not to be.

Harmony thought about Bryce and Lucky. She realized she was too hard on them, particularly as of late, but it was vital that she prepared them to be independent.

She clamped her eyes shut. The tears began to form a stream down both her cheeks until the toss pillow she was lying on was drenched and her heart was broken.

Troy was handcuffed to the bed, pussy-whipped and worn the hell out after being Bryce’s guinea pig for the evening. She had done everything from having him fuck her with a dildo and letting him watch her lick her own pussy juice off it to sucking his dick with Listerine in her mouth.

Never had a woman turned him on so much, and he knew, at that very moment, that Poppi was home to stay. She told him she had to go downstairs to get something. He figured it was probably some whipped cream or some other kinky shit like that. Whatever it was, he was ready for her ass. She would cry uncle first because he wasn’t even going out like that.

Bryce appeared back at the doorway with an open book in one of her hands. He raised up on his elbows so he could see the title: The Sex Chronicles. “Oh, damn! What now?”

Bryce pulled her other hand from behind her back, showing off two of the weirdest damn things he had ever seen.

  “What the fuck are those?”

  “Anal beads and testicle gauntlets.”

“Aww, shit! Uncuff me, Bryce! Uncuff me right this damn minute!”

She climbed on top of him with the book still in one hand and the sex toys in the other. “But, darling, I’m not finished hating you yet!”

He squirmed, trying to get away. She threw her head back and laughed like Jack Nicholson as the Joker in Batman.

One of her neighbors was almost ready to call 911 when he heard someone screaming, “UNCLLEE!”

  Lucky Lucks Out

Lucky was working part-time at the med school library during summer break to make a little extra spending cash. Her parents helped out as best they could but they were a couple of little means, having lost most of their valuables when a hurricane tore through their farm in southern California four years earlier. Chester Whitfield had allowed the insurance payments to lapse briefly while he played catch-up on some other bills. Unfortunately, none of them could do anything about the loss but accept it and adapt.

Harmony had quickly stepped up to the plate when things went downhill. She was carrying most of the family on her shoulders with the profits from her temporary agency. With the exception of Bryce. Bryce had earned an MBA and was doing well at her investment firm.

Lucky hated having to always ask Harmony for money. She fully intended to pay her back every last penny once she became a pediatrician. It was difficult to swallow her pride and ask Harmony for money weekly. That’s why she’d taken the job at the library.

Around midnight one Friday night, Lucky was bored and decided to browse through one of the textbooks she would be required to use during the fall semester. She was transfixed in the book and didn’t see anyone approaching her.

“Excuse me, you wouldn’t happen to have an extra pencil, would you?”

Lucky looked up from her book and almost creamed in her pants. It was the dark-skinned brother she’d been interested in for months but was too busy with books to approach. She took the pencil she was sucking on out of her mouth, embarrassed about the way she had been working her tongue on it, and responded, “No, sorry.”

He took a seat across from her, not even asking if it was all right to sit down. “Weren’t you in my molecular biology course this past semester?”

  Lucky blushed. “Yes, I was.”

  “Your name’s Lucy, right
?”

“Actually, it’s Lucky,” she replied disappointedly. He could at least have gotten her name right.

“Oops, my bad.” He shifted in his seat and placed his book bag on top of the study table. “I’m Robbie. Robbie Cruise.”

Lucky stared into his deep-set brown eyes and held back a sigh. “I know who you are.”

Robbie chuckled, glad that she remembered him. He’d been checking her out, but could never get her alone to talk to her. He was elated when he’d spotted her sitting all alone and made up the pencil line. He had at least a dozen in his bag.

“How’d you do in the course?” he asked. “Professor Martnick really gave me a hard way to go. I’m surprised I escaped with a C.”

“I did okay and Professor Martnick’s not all that bad. He’s just devoted to science and I can’t help but admire that.”

“If you say so.” Lucky looked back down into her book and Robbie felt like he was losing her attention. “So, what courses are you taking in summer school? I’m taking immunology and genetics.”

“I’m not in summer school.” Lucky glanced up at him.

Robbie was stunned. “If you’re not in summer school, what are you doing studying this time of night?”

“Getting a jump start on next semester.” Lucky realized how nerdy that made her sound as soon as the words left her lips, so she added, “I work here part-time, also. Trying to make some spending change, you know.”

“I feel you. I do deliveries for Domino’s. The hours are lousy and the tips are few and far between, but it helps supplement what my parents dish out to me.”

Lucky was impressed. At least he had a job. A job, in medical school, and fine. Nice combination. “Where are you originally from?”

  “Minneapolis. You?”

  “The San Fernando Valley.”

“Cool. California.” Robbie chuckled. “You must’ve had an exciting time growing up.”

Lucky rolled her eyes, remembering her strict upbringing. “I wouldn’t call my childhood exciting. Far from it. I grew up on a farm with an overprotective father.”

“If I ever have a daughter as fine as you, I’ll be overprotective of her also.”

Lucky grinned from ear to ear. “Flattery will get you everywhere.”

Robbie decided to lay his cards on the table. “I’m done studying for tonight. If I do any more studying, my brain might explode. I came over here and asked you for a pencil just so I could holler at you for a minute.”

“Like I said, flattery will get you everywhere,” Lucky repeated, this time seductively.

  “You drink?”

Lucky winced at the question. The last time she’d taken a drink, she’d ended up rolling on waves with Dean Mitchell. “Not as much as I used to. I recently made a bad decision while I was under the influence so I’m extremely cautious about my alcohol consumption.”

“Oooh, I won’t ask what the bad decision was,” Robbie chided.

“Good, because I wouldn’t reveal it anyway,” Lucky replied snidely.

“I was thinking of heading down to Georgetown to hang out. It’s such a pretty night.”

“Sounds like a plan. Enjoy yourself.”

Robbie was disappointed that Lucky didn’t jump at his suggestive remark. It was obvious that he wanted her to join him. He decided to make it more obvious. “I’d enjoy myself a hell of a lot more if you were with me.”

  “Is that a formal invitation?”

“If it is, will your answer be yes?” Robbie asked nervously.

Lucky could tell he was uneasy. She decided to let him off the hook because she wasn’t about to turn down an opportunity to spend quality time with Mr. Fine. “Definitely.”

  “Then, it’s a formal invitation.”

Lucky got up from the table. “Let me just go grab my purse. It’s behind the information desk.”

“Aw, so you give out information?”

  “That’s the general idea.”

  “Well, I need some information.”

  Lucky giggled. “Is that right?”

“Yes, I need to know your phone number and address.”

“Pushy. Pushy.” They both laughed. “Let’s head to Georgetown first, get to know each other a little, and at the end of the night, if I feel so inclined, I’ll give you all the information you asked for and then some.”

Robbie followed her to the information desk. “Sounds good to me.”

“Let’s go!” Robbie said, motioning Lucky toward the parking lot once they were outside. “My car’s right over here. It’s the blue Volkswagen Bug.”

  Lucky started laughing.

“What’s wrong? You don’t like the new Bugs?”

“Hell naw, I love them.” Lucky pointed over to their left. “Mine is the red one over there by the streetlamp.” They both guffawed. “See, we have something else in common already.”

“Most definitely!” Robbie took Lucky’s hand while they made pleasant conversation on their way to his car. They didn’t notice anyone watching them. Nor did they notice the black Mercedes trailing them with its headlights off as they pulled out of the library parking lot.

  Trapped

Lucky and Robbie became close in the month that followed. They hung out almost every day when Lucky wasn’t working and he wasn’t in class. They did have tons of stuff in common, including a love of African art and cultural activities. Summertime in D.C. is the perfect time to get in tune with your Afrocentricity because tons of various fairs and music festivals are catered toward African-Americans. Even the world’s only African-American owned and operated circus rolled through town during the summer. They tried to hit it all.

They held off on becoming intimate though. Robbie wanted to make sure that Lucky was just as attached to him emotionally as she was physically. It was torture to Lucky because she often lay in bed at night next to him willing him to reach for her and fulfill her every fantasy.

One day, Lucky decided that she couldn’t fall asleep one more night without Robbie inside her, so she devised a plan. Robbie often shared his love of dogs with Lucky. His eyes lit up whenever he saw a cute one in the park while they were bike riding or whenever one passed them on the street. So when he told her that his birthday was coming up in less than two weeks, Lucky decided to give him her present early.

She looked up local animal shelters on Yahoo! that offered pet adoption, since she knew that there was no possible way she could afford a pedigreed, and adopted a precious female beagle for him.

Robbie loved the puppy and, in honor of Lucky, named her Lucinda. They made love for the first time that night, after Lucky gave Robbie a full-body massage with heated aloe vera and recited two poems to him that she had written.

The first one was entitled “You’ve Put a Smile on My Face” and the second was “Now Can I Put a Smile on Yours.” The first one described how Robbie had come to mean so much to Lucky through his caring, giving nature, while the second described, in erotic terms, what Lucky wanted to do with him sexually.

Needless to say, Robbie couldn’t keep his hands off Lucky by the time she got to the last verse, and it was on. Clothes started flying in the air, bodies started moving in unison, and they didn’t pass out from exhaustion until eight or nine hours later.

“Robbie,” Lucky whispered afterward. “I realize that we haven’t been together long, but I want you to know something.”

“What’s that, Baby?” Robby kissed her gently on the forehead.

“I love you, Robbie. I really do,” Lucky confessed on the brink of joyous tears.

Robbie wiped her eyes. “No need for those. I love you, too, Lucky. I’m so glad we finally hooked up because I had my eye on you for quite some time.”

“I’m happier than I’ve ever been, Robbie.”

“That’s makes two of us and this is only the beginning.”

Lucky loved Robbie’s maturity. Something it had been extremely hard for her to find in a man her own age. She had kept her p
romise to Harmony by staying away from Dean Marvin Mitchell, avoiding him like the plague. But one day fate intervened, and that day all hell broke loose in Lucky’s life.

She was in the chemistry building looking for Robbie in one of the labs when Marvin came into the lab behind her and locked the door.

“What are you doing here?” Lucky asked.

“Last time I checked, I could go anywhere on this campus I pleased.”

“I didn’t mean it like that. Sorry.”

Lucky turned so her back was to him, hoping he would just leave. Her heart started palpitating faster. She sensed something was wrong.

“Lucky, why haven’t you been by my office or my place to see me lately?” She could feel his eyes making a survey of her body. “I thought we had a good time that night.”

She swung around to look at him. “We had a good time, but…”

  “But what?”

“We should’ve never done that. It was wrong and un-ethical.”

  “Because I’m the dean, right?”

“Right,” she replied, nodding in agreement.

“Well, this might come as a surprise to you.” He started walking closer to her. “But you’re not the first student from this school I’ve entertained in my bed. Far from it.”

“You fucking bastard!” Lucky tried to slap him, but he caught her arm by the wrist before impact. “I really thought you cared about me.”

“Oh, I do care. In fact, I care so much that you could say I’m obsessed with you.”

Lucky glared at him with fear in her eyes.

“Like I was saying before you so rudely interrupted me. You’re not the first student I’ve had in my bed, but you’re definitely the best. I want some more of your sweet, young pussy.”

She tried to slap him with her free hand but he got ahold of that wrist, too. She was immobilized, pressed against the lab table.

She was repulsed when he took his thick tongue and lapped the side of her face like a dog.

“The way you devoured my dick that night was such a rush. I’ve been waiting for you to come to me, but I see you’ve been busy with Robbie Cruise.”
